Kefalonia Airport Information

Kefalonia Island International Airport (IATA: EFL) is an airport on Kefalonia Island, Greece.

The airport was opened in 1971 at the village of Minies of the Municipality Livathos. Before that, the only way to reach Kefalonia was by ferryboat or helicopter ("Air-Taxi"). In the 1980's a new runway and the terminal was built.
